Yes, and there are still ppl macroing, silk is one example,and i think there are also hunting/farming macros

i would love to see ahunting macro. with hunting boars in sight and two bears mauling your rear

Now that I think of it, paying for gold is a quite understandable human reaction to being part of a (virtual) society. Everyone wants to be the alpha dog. It might start out as a game to relax, but it soon enough turns into yet another situation where one has to prove his superiority. Especially in high-risk games like Haven where you can easily lose everything you have achieved.

this is a rather deep - and true - insight.

for me, being a natural born alpha dog, this game is some sort of holiday from my rl ever demanding and pushing people over their limit self
