Haven't bred for hide q, since I bet on a reset coming before we can breach q200. So yeah, just q80-100 bones.

And even with q120, that's still 4 generation of perfect rolls to get to q200. At 15 days per generation, that's two months in best case, but we all know that's not very likely to happen.

There is no real high level content in this game aside for player conflict, however the game has little incentive to start conflict. so usually people need a really good reason to raid a village.

You don't need to reset the whole server to give people something to do. They can just start a new character and call it a day. And if they don't want to start a new character then they either still want to play their current character or starting a new one would bring no fun to them. In both cases a server reset without actual new content wouldn't help.

So we see, resets without new content additions make no sense.

no sense to you. lots of sense to the developers who may want newbie content tested more. Taking the FEP system with eating tables for example, right now there are some players with rediculous stats because of them. if you had tables at the begining of the map instead of half way through, it might be even worse. right now there are probably only a handfull of people who can break wood by hand. and if someone actually is trying, brick bashers could easily happen this map. If you have tables at the begining of the map. your could see tons of people being able to break wood and each of the major villages being able to break brick. The only thing stopping that from being a problem right now is player activity. alot of the experienced players are semi inactive. reset the game, and alot of them will be active again.

Or quit... I for one will not play after a reset (doesn't matter when that will come though) building shit from scratch to top tier twice is enough for me. Reseting doesn't solve the lack of high end content and that's the biggest problem with the game you build your shit set up your infrastructure and then what...

4 of the Wurstone Alliance ex-members quit, promising to return in W4. So yeah, some ppl will come active again.

A shame to see you leave then, Avu. Maybe when things are set up again, you'll come back? :P

Actually, starting off in the woods with a bunch of newbies is one of my favorite parts of the game. Once I get all the skills and get access to all the items, it loses a bit of the excitement for me.

Might be for you for me it's one of the suckiest parts.

Funny thing is a lot of people said that about world 3 as well back in world 2 guess what they ain't here.

Maybe when things are set up again, you'll come back?

At the rate of development that would be 10 years or so.

2 of us from Wurstone played about a month in world 2 and then we started in world 3 again. And i guess a lot of people did the same. Hard to tell how many people really quit after world reset.

i know what you mean. i dont know if i could handle raising my crops up to its current level again. They just need an incentive for player conflict.

i personally want a reset

there was nothing more fun for me than listening to my friends argue and complain as we built our temporary fences and built storehouses, cupboards, etc. Something was pretty dull about being able to walk outside of our area and find a whole bunch of plunder in an abandoned settlement, though, but with a world reset that'd change. :)

I for one hope there's no reset until they sort the server issues out. As Thurrok says there's plenty of players waiting for the reset to get back to the game, but the server is already overloaded much of the time.
