Yup. When I was a kid and didn't know that, I always thought S:t Göran (from the story of St. George and the Dragon) was a strictly Swedish saint, since he obviously had a strictly Swedish name. :)

I dunno. I don't hate it when Kaiser Wilhelm is translated into English as Emperor William, or King Karl XII as King Charles XII. Not that Göran Buske doesn't sound even slightly weird. :)
Interestingly enough, the only thing I find when I search for "potjeh" seems to be that very fairy tale, and I can't find it in any dictionary. Does it mean "quest" literally, or is it some kind of weird translation?
