Next time I'll keep my ax in my inventory :) .

I mean come up with an arrangement now regarding any future resources. Clearly, trying to negotiate things in the heat of the moment presents additional difficulties.

I'd just like to state for the record that lake-town views this large resource of INCALCULABLE value somewhere to the middle (and perhaps slightly east) portion of the map is obviously de-stabilising the region, and we are scheduling a war council to discuss mobilisation of a pre-emptive defensive action to secure the resource FOR THE GOOD OF ALL and bring stability and good wholesome christian values to the region.

Also I personally feel that both we and bottle neck are as "entitled" to a share as much as anyone, which is to say not at all. That is not necessarily an official Laketown position at this point in time.

Seriously though, I'm happy this one seems to have been resolved fairly well for the parties concerned and would like to re-state my recommendation of Colbear as the official diplomat for goon castle, that's some fine mind crafting there :P

He wasn't quite as diplomatic when we were waving our axes around, but I guess when all's said and done, I'll agree ;) .

As for Erick the Blue's post, perhaps you could be in charge of claiming and distributing future ROB resources, Colbear.

He obviously didn't need to use the same level of diplomacy then, you gotta step it up when you're trying to sway an entire forum.

I'm a little more brash when I don't have the opportunity to think my words out (and when I'm not safely logged out where nothing bad is likely to happen to my character himself), as I'm sure everyone is. When I make posts, I generally try to review what I say and make sure what I say is reasonable, clear, etc. It's harder to do that in a chat-room (or chat bubble, in this case) scenario.

especially since chat vanishes so quickly, has a very short limit to each line and leaves no log

I think this argument over a few seeds is silly and you should all feel silly for fighting over them.
