I'm taking a course on game design at the moment, have the best software and at the moment I am asking some people from my studies 'Alumni' to have a look at it.
P.S: They all work for major game companies :)

I think the best response I have to all the critics ^, did you ever try it then?
And yes, I can make clones like that. And yes, its beginners work: I had my second Maya lesson today. Read more carefully, please.

also, what i saw from your site, your models are just beginners work ._.
maybe you should go write us a 10-page concept of the game..

If they dont, they shouldnt apply I guess, and

'What I have to offer you as programmer/coder: A opportunity to program or code in a team, so not only will you write a line of code, but actually use it for something bigger.
I can not offer any salary but donations, like it works here, I do not plan on making the game paid or having a special item shop.
If you are a professional, hopefully a great addition to your portfolio.'

Don't let anyone get to you. Most people smiled politely and then changed the subject every time I talked about H&H when we were first starting out. Can't be done? Sure it can. The world is full of people who -- since they can't put two straws together themselves -- assume that nobody else can either.

That being said I'd suggest you find a RL friend to build your game with. If you're in school it shouldn't be too hard. H&H wouldn't have gotten anywhere if loftar and I hadn't been in the same room while developing. Online conversations have (IMHO) much too high latency to facilitate fundamental design discussions. Do not attempt to program in a Windows environment, it will drive you mad. Server side, do not use a Windows system.

Best of luck. :)

EDIT: Oh, and don't expect anyone to give a shit. Either you carry the vision or no one does.

If somebody wants to be taken seriously he should have something to show, not just talk what he can do. An artist should include some concept art and sprites or models in his recruitment pitch. If you want to be the lead designer, you need to post your design document so people know what are they signing up for. A couple of sentences worth of buzzwords just doesn't cut it when it comes to making people believe you can pull off a huge project.

Mhh, I thought that didnt really fit for here in a thread: check the link in my signature.
And yes, I should really work on a better design document, you're right. I'm working on it, but coming up with a definite, and unique idea of a game is pretty hard imo.
Edit: Also, none of the models is textured yet, I doubt I will attract any people with grey objects.

Well, I have seen some pretty sweet unskinned models . . .

Hmm, that sounded kind of perverse.

I would be really interested to help. May not be sure if my skills would be enough to make it work.

I must agree with the style you wish to keep the game in. Free to play and everything else. Though I can';t help with making skins =0

Heh, maybe, but I'm not really, really good yet or something. I'm practicing though.
