Fan Site HAH

It WOULD be nice to have forums up independent of the server, so we have somewhere to rage when it's shitting its daily bricks.

That said this community isn't exactly enormous and probably has at least half its population with a first language outside of English. Unless you're providing the service to a specific languages speakers, I can't see this gaining much traction. Two forums simply fragments community and gets in the way of discussion.

Likely less about how they are run and more about how often they don't run at all. Keeping track of forum threads is lots of fun when playing 503 tag with Mr. http.

Patriotism is nice, but completely irrelevant. The server will be back whenever it can be fixed and restarted. Nobody knows when that is, so you'll just have to wait. In the mean time it'd be nice if you not post completely off-topic questions in the middle of other people's threads.

Some critique:

Right now, it looks like just an emulation of that of H&H's forum. In order for people to consider it as a FAN site, there should be fan-related things on it.

Perhaps General H&H boards for each different language spoken on H&H. I can think of about five off the top of my head. Considering that H&H's board is basically an English-speaking board this kind of stuff can be beneficial to international people that can barely speak a word of English and perhaps maybe want to trade with others.

Just one suggestion of many you can probably think to add if you think of it as a "fan site"

EDIT: actually i'll go into it a bit more. I would like to say that having the majority of the http load separated from the game server would be helpful (response times of 20+ seconds to load a page is annoying as fuck), but I don't think that a random forum from a guy who's been around for eight days and has the creativity to use a free domain host and to steal the logo from Jackard's SomethingAwful post about H&H is the person to do it.
