Teck, don't even try to reason with him. We're talking about the people that overthrew me instead of asking to step down the 'logical' thing to do. As far as the bad leader goes I suppose that being kind to the villagers and giving them a place to live was terrible. I wasn't terrible leader - I just didn't want to create a pure industry of mindless work that you all wanted to achieve & before Konda and the rest came along the rest of the villagers were happy about that. After all, the original Bowerstone founders were the ones who got the iron mine, found a location, etc.
That being said I stopped caring a long time ago, Dar. The fact that so many people with some personality disorders and egotistical bastards in one place was disturbing enough. I would say I lost faith in the people in this game but I haven't there are so many kind people; I just happened to get stuck with the idiots.
