but those charactors are traditional ones. young chinese in china hardly use them or know them. i even doubt they install those fonts in their pc.
i would assume them to be more like from Singapore or Malaysia.
(Taiwanese use traditional ones too but i wouldnt think they would call China as #1)

Depends. I know some Taiwanese folks. They've got two competing lines of political thought there. One that favors reunification with China, and is very traditional. The other wants to go their own way and make their own path.
