If someone is online, chances are they will either be in their vault, and if not they will be expecting a fight and already have a plan, so you will never have the element of surprise. If their HF is in a vault, go ahead and waste 24 hours of your life staring at pixels while the defenders get their archers ready to bombard anyone within sight range with arrows, which include the 4 people standing completely still while they are ramming the wall, if it lives that long. And if you DO manage to break into someone's vault, what makes you think they won't be able to break into yours?
