A simple sling can really ruin an rbow user's day.

The sling interrupts an archer's aim only if it hits, not if it misses. While true that a slinger can disrupt an archer's offensive capabilities, punch currently serves the same purpose without chance interfering with the role of disabling. Essentially a sling is mostly limited to combat that has both forces isolated by a wall and terrain. It is a valid application of a sling though for those that constantly have a wall between them and enemies and should not be dismissed. This is of course not counting the slings purpose of easily hunting animals.

Sling aims 6 times faster and doesn't need per since you won't do damage anyway, so it's piss easy to make a slinger alt. People who don't have enough UA or are simply too inexperienced with the combat system can operate these.

Actually I was not making a comparison if sling vs ranger bow but rather sling and punch for the same purpose of interrupting an archer's aim, not counting that slings and punches have overlapping roles in hunting as well.

Good luck getting close enough to archers to punch without getting hit by their UA guys on the run.

Good luck finding an archer who didn't put all his points into UA after getting 300-400 MM.

The sling doesn't even have to do damage, just actually hit.

Really you guys are delving too much into what I didn't want to converse in the first part, parts of the Marksman's weaknesses.

Pardon my confusion but was that direct to me?

In general on the topic of archers weaknesses. We're already fucked, no need to share the weaknesses with the world.

Not as much as you think current but if punch is toned down to not being so spammable, that should tone down that weakness of archers indirectly while balancing unarmed out.

The idea of moving or being hit stopping your aim completely is what breaks archery a lot.

RBows can't even contend with equal armor anyway. If you make q100 steel stuff and have q100 RBow you're not doing shit, it's like 20 hits to actually fully break defense? Numbers are somewhere but all in all: Fucked.
