Elk do this in Washington state (NW United States). Every other day during the winter on the back roads you can find a car that hit an elk that jumped out of the tree line moments before the car drove passed. I've even seen a few cars that got hit BY the elk jumping into the side of the car. The last one is pretty rare though, still absurd.

Just got back from a two-hour lesson.

- I've nearly got stopped at junctions, effectively.
- I bay-parked, and pushed the instructor to let me try one more time, after not getting it right previously a few times. I told her I'd do it perfectly, and I did  .

I never took "lessons" Seeing how i was 18 before I decided to get my license. I found out then that I like a bigger vehicle so i can see into peoples cars while I'm sitting at a stop light.

But i also his a snowplow truck the week after I got my license and my new truck. Yea that was fun to explain.

I never got lessons either. all I got was my stepdad sitting in the passenger seat going, "what the fuck is wrong with you? TURN THE FUCKING WHEEL! I was doing this when I was 14!" I wont drive with him in the car anymore...

i never had problems when driving honestly, it all came pretty naturally to me. Apart from knowing the traffic regulations at start, mostly just memorizing the signs was hardest part. Never had any problems in handling the car itself since i could drive a car when i was 8 years old (had my first car when i was 9 years old), had my first motocross bike when i was 6 years old. Passed all my tests the first time with good scores aswell.

Anyway, good luck and i hope you get your license! :)

My driving instructor was kind of insane. He persuaded me to drive the maximum possible speed at the autobahn (german freeway), which was 250kmh (153mph).
And one time he wanted to make a bet about 50€, that i would kill the motor while parking backwards uphill. Sadly i didn't want to make the bet since i didn't trust my skills that well. But he already had pulled out the 50€ and would have given them to me
