Which other side of the world? There are people playing from all around the globe. Just check the Dwarves&Thieves section for regional recruitment or put one up yourself there.

The people who grief and kill are the people who have done everything else there is to do in this game and have gotten tired of the day to day grind. If it's there, why not do it? Why spend months building up defences, raising your skills, sparing with friends to get better at combat when there's nothing at the end of it but maybe killing a boar with your hands? W5 and W6 are very much seen as tester worlds or place-holder worlds while Salem is being finished so why not grief a bit, if nothing has been updated and you don't care to build up your empire again when you know it will be wiped. I wrote all that off the top of my head and I don't plan on re reading it to see if it made sense. Hopefully it did

If you're tired of playing the game play another fucking game you know... I've done everything there is to do in the game more times than I can count but I never felt the urge to give grieffing a try. My grieffing robs other people of their fun people that maybe are just trying things for the first time people that maybe only have time to play a couple of hours during weekends, maybe people that just want a flower garden they may be larpers but my fun should never value more than theirs especially since I can have fun in tons of other ways. When there is simply nothing but grieffing left to do that is "fun" it means it's time for me to move on to other stuff, there are books to read, shows to watch, other games to play and hey if hh ever gets fixed and new stuff is added you can always come back.

a clove of chopped adrenalin, a dash of power over others, 2 cans of boredom, 1 diced racism, 1 grated vengeance, and a pinch of gameplay.

heat until it's boiling, stir the drama in slowly, and it sit until the tears are melted it, serve for people in congress,

caution it's hot.
You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same.

Kill people so you can extract their delicious tears and consume them.
Be as much of a fag about it as possible, otherwise you're doing it wrong.
But sadly, even killing others in H&H gets boring after some time.

I do believe that's one of the best, albeit poorly written, things I've read on this forum. I may take the time to revise it where it looks like you know how to use a shift key and work it into a signature.

I agree with Avu. While it is a game mechanic, people play the game for different reasons I do, and I respect that and leave them be, or perhaps even help them. =)
