Yeah, but I can still fight them on pretty equal footing when we meet in battle, with godchars back I'd get rolled over by a jump puncher even if I were a combat system prodigy.

But fuck me, only people willing to dedicate all of their free time to the game are deserving of it, innit?

Raising an alt to pretty decent levels is not hard at all. I had an alt factory going in late W5 before I quit, and I can tell you it's really easy, even if you don't have hours a day to play.

And I gotta agree with Avu on this about the alts. At the moment, there really is no such thing as risk, given that you have adequate resources. You just killed my main? Well fuck you, I got 3 other characters with high combat stats! Oh, and full trad...

The real issue here is villages being unassailable, it wouldn't be so easy to rebuild alt army if your curio factory got destroyed.

*shrug* I'd either store the curios in a safe location and just make sure my alts are secure, or I'd just relocate the entire factory.

I do kind of agree with you about villages being too hard to attack, but I think that large villages, especially with large populations, should be at a major advantage during siege situations than a town that was, say, smaller and lower population size.

Exactly. The siege system should favour concentrating your assets, so that your many alt villages would get raided by the first passing criminal.

Im in agreement with some of you. Alts are a problem and while botting isn't that bad now its only because it's already easy to make alts. Though, im also in agreement with avu:

While i dont want to go over every other LP system thread, hater threads or not,
Does anyone have an idea about how to lower this problem or make it not a problem?

Remove the LP system for a more Advanced and in-depth discovery system that includes non-incremental skills. Set a max number of points that can be used to increase incremental skills. Meaning players have to take on more specific roles. Limit accounts have only one character also remove being able to ancestor dead characters, and limit the number active accounts that can be launched from one PC/mac address. Allow for skill points to be reset but at a cost to the player, and cool-down timer that increases exponentially every-time skills are reset. This allows for players to re-roll if their village comes under attack to help defend or fill rolls that vacant. Attributes have no limit but rework formulas so they follow a more logarithmic growth curve.

This is all solved by not being so stupid as to make one character for the "jack of all trades". For farming, do a alt for farming only, if you worry about siege, make afew combat alts that never get online unless in the event of said siege.

With 8 forum posts I don't believe you have any right to shove your ridiculous ideals at the rest of us. Not to mention you haven't a fucking clue how difficult it would be to implement half the shit you just spewed.
