The other option is actual probably a better one aside for the fact that i mentioned. Cause if you can get out of render / combat with ur aggressor you can hearth, rather then having to get far enough to be able to stand there for 3 seconds.

Now that you rework it so I can understand what you mean; It actually does sound quite good of an idea. But what if your Agro'd? Id assume you wont be able to hearth then?

No, wouldn't be able to hearth if aggro'd, cause if you could, you could just jump in a house and hearth instantly. I do still think it beats the timers for hearthing though. I'm sure people could poke holes in the suggestion though.

my thought on the cr cost change...

yes, the cr material cost was too cheap, but the current one is too absurd.
think of "key" fix first if you need to do this, or newer players are doomed.
devs, you seem to have forgetten that the abusers and/or raiders are not the one who worry about the material cost.

no, this is not a band-aid fix, this is like rolling gauze around the wounded to prevent them from moving at all.

No matter how you look at it, something that can literally only be rammed costing only sticks, blocks and dreams is a little crazy. For their intended purpose, their price wasn't bad, but with people abusing it something had to be done. I agree though the new price is too much.

The steel is a silly idea, and metal is pretty bad to. On the good side, the fact that it's now in need of further balancing it might raise the priority of removing fast travel.

As for the teleport, same thing goes :|

The real problem is here, that I think the developers forgot to mind the lesser authorities while making this. They probably only thought of the bugabusers, and that they needed a punch in the stomach. They probably thought that now those rich bitches couldn't make as many CRs, but it would still be available to the rich majority of the game. They were wrong. This simply means that, unless you have a secret storage of a million steel bars, and you're a minor settlement, unable to make large amounts of steel at once, you'll have to wait 2½ day to make one, in that time, a major village might've seen your cave, clay spot, or whatever and Vclaimed it and buttraped your Pclaim.

As I said before, they forgot to mind the minor settlements in the game. It's kind of sad that they only care about 35% of the players.

If hearth timer is here to stay, might be cool if the timer was governed by agility with diminishing returns, hardcapped at 3 seconds or something. 10 seconds seems a bit too much. Also a timer for logging out, rather than just leaving you logged in game when you log out. Finally you need to get the "not enough travel weariness" warning before clicking travel to village, not after waiting the 10 seconds.

Pro tip: Village idols are cheaper than crossroads. If you are not in a hurry, you know what to do.
