Noobiest mistakes you've ever seen?

I'd been pretty on top of things until the other night. I was sailing around gathering mussels, about half a supergrid or more away from my home on a river that I had to carry my boat across land for like 10 minutes to get to. I already have to carry my boat for about five minutes just to get to a river since I live well away from them.

Suddenly I found the largest cluster I have ever seen. Both my crates were full of mussels and my inventory was nearly full. After gathering about ten of them there was still 10 or so left and another large cluster nearby. I thought, "Dang... Why can't I hold all these mussels (limes)". Putting my greed aside, I go to pick up my crates and shove them in the boat and, oops, I hit my hearth key. Great. So fifteen minutes or more later I get back to my boat, get out to load the crates again, and BAM, hit the hearth key AGAIN.

Three boats and something like an hour for two crates of river mussels. On the plus side I got even more because I kept emptying my inventory when I accidentally hearthed home. I got one shiny pearl out of it.

the stupidest thing i did when i started in world 4 was when i couldnt figure out how to get water int a bucket, and my little newb settlement was in an area or water with a very small shallow area or water. everything i read and was told was to pick it up fromt he river or well, i didnt have a well so i figured the river would be good enough. ended up buying swimming, thinking i needed to get a little in the river to pick up the water.....so yeah...i ended up dead.

i was playing around near a super noob village and talking to a few of them, when one walks out of a house and says he's gonna go foraging.
Walks straight over to the water. Swims about half way to the other side of the river and drowns.

The last post made me laugh, so thought I'd post about my friend.

He has drowned twice in the past month, so this reincarnation I thought I'd give him a ferryman ring yesterday, he managed to get to full civilisation (for the INT boost, taking away CON), but yeh so he drowned again today.

Prob about 5 min ago when I teled without my boat of LCs containing Q100 gold bars only to find out that my hearth was right next to a bear that spawned in my camp so I won't be back hmm in fact I think the same thing happend to me a month ago but they were LCs of troll skulls I gotta do better about things like that... anyway if I can remember correctly I left the stuff at co-ords 72,8 if anybodys their tell them the secret password "kill me I'm a thief and ill kill you if I get a chance" and you will gladly be show to the chests

As far as it goes for me:
New World, got boat building, so i build a boat. Walk a §$%&/ mile to the river put it down, want to get in,..... can't get in. It lies in a river claimed by PANDEMONIUM. so i had to build another boat at a place where no Pandemonium claim is(which is really hard to find).

Made a hunting alt with sliders set to full death and full civilization, nerfing my con and strength to 7, dropping my health to 67 HP, and then trying to play "Press Your Luck" with some aurouches by pulling their hairs without any armor on. Got five just fine, but then then the sixth one was the whammy.

I win.
