For that reason, I think I should be paranoid - but I'm not yet to the point where I'm ready to pack up and move a few super grids away. I'm far enough from them now and far beneath notice / worthy target, but I saw a couple of hearthlings who were living just a week or two ago have become skeletons and it looks like they moved and just abandoned what they had built.

It's kinda unfair that if you land in the wrong spot on character gen, you can wind up in a bad spot - but I guess that's just the luck of the draw. For now, I'm just gonna hold onto my little claim, farm up some good seed stock and then get the hell out of dodge if things start getting sketchy.

there is a way when you log in(with baby blue eyes) you can log out and try another random place. but alas i do not know how it works :(

My alt was mugged by a couple of Dis people the other day and I live more than three super grids away. You can move to the other side of the map and you'll still be in "their" territory heh. But for what it's worth, it doesn't much matter where you spawn. Where I first spawned was in fact practically in the backyard of Dis (although I didn't know it at the time) and I immediately set out for one of the outer grids. I knew no good would come from settling near the center of the world. It didn't take long for me to reach the edge, maybe an hour or two although someone did help me out by giving me a boat.

This game is far from being a place where someone can just stop and say hello. I have made my Fourteenth char now that I just randomly go about foraging and walking around to see how long it will take to be KOd, mugged &/or murdered. my last encounter was from a Ainran member from what they said. I was passing by said hello and they jumped in my boat and attacked me. I said "This is really pointless" and KOd. They then asked me who I was and after coming to from being KOd, I said "I am literally nobody, my last char was murdered by Dis" and they replied "Oh well this is Ainran territory good luck" and went on left me there!! Really friendly let me tell you. I love how pros think that we "noobs" are rude if we do not stop and talk, I have meet only one person that has not attacked mugged and or murdered one of my toons from me stopping and saying hello.

Reaction to a bunch of BS Bully crap, and you think its rude?

EDIT: BTW hazzor I do like watching your YouTube vids. Good stuff.

(english suck sorry)

i think the game real need a PVE/PVP world-map (like UO-online)

this game is a kill+loot+Plunder and Simulation-life game

but if the simulation-life player no full-UC and plate ,

the PVP player come,he will death, lost all !

i think the game Advantage very much and fun, but Shortcoming is very much too

the no-UBER-player is hard-survive....brickwall cannot stop anything

200strx4char + ram can eat ALL-simulation-life player....

This suggestion is brought up over and over again and it's sort of annoying. Whilst black skills act as a skill of grief they also counter themselves and other forms of grief. Would you enjoy a PvE world where your base got surrounded with hearthfires creating a wall you can't break? No, you wouldn't.

+1

but, let me still tell you, it is still nice to make an exploring char with no skill/lps, just explore around and try making friends and get to know the area you spawned. you have nothing to lose.
