I would help ya, but my main character is plagued with a glitch, and my alt has to tend to her farm while she's ill. Also, I live all the way on the other side of the country.

But send me a HS by PM and I might join ya with a different alt.

don't think i'll get much response, but i need a few plows to keep going with the road. turns out starving alts is harder to lp gain then i thought without puting too much work into them. the coordinates are earlier in this thread. your help will be appreciated and will be repayed by our output in work.

If you build along the supergrid boundaries, you won't have to detour around rivers & lakes, so you wouldn't need bridges.

It's updated by cartographers. Someone with cartography goes and draws a map in that spot, then uploads it to the HnH world map you are viewing. So it won't be updated until someone in game goes to that area and cartographies the fuck on up. ;)

so... uh... wait, there is a use for cartography now? man, if the game wasn't being wonky right now i would totes do that, map making road building machine.
is it automatically added to the google map when you cartograph places or do you have to somehow work with it outside of game?

You gotta work with it outside of game. Not exactly sure how, however.

there's a map uploading tool - and you don't need cartography skill for it as it uses the tiles from your map folder...

http://algeralith.info/MapUploader.zip

but it's good to know that the updates might take some time to be shown on world map...

But then it's not realistic :C

Exactly why I don't use the world maps, doesn't give me the same feel, plus the maps are tangible, you can see them there, update them yourself, they're real, and not something you have to pull up all the time.

Just my opinion :)
