I intensely dislike wearing any equip that isn't a nice round number. My Cuirass makes me rage because It's ua is only +9 so I either have to have my base even, or my buff even. I can never have uneven stats, i always find a way around it :s

I carry my stone axe and bone saw everywhere I go. Even when foraging. Can't leave without my axe and saw.
I also carry a key around that doesn't lead anywhere and name it something funny or misleading.

It's sort of a habit I developed a few months ago when I used to have a personal plot.
