You must have missed the part where Goo stated that they planned on wiping out every living non-alllied hearthling in every one of the other, what 15? Supergrids. Not very fun if you chose not to live in the "peace" grid. I'd prefer to have no shopping center at the cost of having my towns razed by Dis, Thanks.

Sounds like you need to read up on "spiraling" steel. I forgot who pulled it off, but someone got q200+ steel back when iron bars only came out q10 (or was that just the ore... it's been a year and a half now and I forget). If you work hard at it, you can probably get q300 steel.

from w3 to w4 i was trying to make power alt with +500 uac and super dupas ultra hearthvault that noone will be able to break in.
In W4 i get bored of this and in W5 i'm started to make 1 "curio farmer" main and a lot of murder alts with murder ofc and 50 uac. I had little settlement where i was feeding all alts till they will be ready, then i destroy their hf and respawn random in the wildneress without any eq and then i starts to look for prey. After i score first kill i take his home as my home and use all materials he got (food, curio, better ql eq). After i will feed enough there i go hunt for next one guy. That testing of murdering was pretty funny and unbeliveable. Most of alts has died cuz i tried too attack to big citys with them BUT few of them survived and got atm +160 uac and +40 melee without any help from anyone (any other alt) only from robbing / killing others - and i'm was without hearthvault build by my own hands (yes that "bug" cave that i found on end of world wasn't my from start). So if you bored try this way to make game more funny and not use a powerhimba mains with +1000 uac
