That'd be rather fun in a morbid sort of way. Navigate around the ruins of former empires and settlements; the only concern on your mind is the awareness of the fauna around you. For that, I'd even play in the vanilla client. No more worries of competition or danger.

Then I might actually play again, like in the good old days where 30 players was absolute rush hour. Game was more fun than ever again at that time probably.

What happened to the population D:

Well, W6 has been going for 314 days now. On September 8th, it will have run as long as W3. And there's still no sign of the nearly-unplayable-lag being fixed, nor any word on Haven development resuming soon (by like 2013 plz), or even a world reset to mix things up (I know that everything would still be basically the same in a new world, but who cares).

I think people are just losing interest. Plenty of reasons for vets to get tired of playing, and few reasons for newbs to come into a temporarily abandoned game that has serious lag problems.

In my opinion the best part of this game is the entire process that comes with a world reset. Building up villages with your friends and allies, messing around and fighting with nearby groups, surveying the land around your chosen area, etc.

All the stuff that comes with being a newbie even if you've been playing the game for several years now.

The people who say a world reset is pointless without any updates or bug fixes are the idiots who love their boring stat grinds and owning inexperienced noobs inside their palisades. No matter how many updates there are ever going to be, this is something I don't think will ever change.

It's like lego you faggots, you build it up and break it and make something new because that's what people with imaginations and creativity do.
