i haven't got a good enough character yet to experiment with the combat changes but the change to flex seems to be designed to promote more interesting standing combat instead of just glorious flex-punching
advantage is now a more interesting resource, which you can choose to stack (or choose to give to your enemy in exchange for attack[/speed, like before]), so now we have one more nice thing to make choices about

haven combat should be about choosing the particular complex chain of moves and manouevers to make and not just thundering until you have enough for sting and then 1 hitting the enemy while he moves. the idea i think is to make it a little less about reflexes and more tactical?
i do think maybe the sword nerf is a bit much though, mainly i'm butthurt that everyone is going to be using axes now so i dont feel as special.
maybe swords should have slightly lower weight attacks than axes (but more than punch) but the damage as before?
again, this is a sandbox game with open pvp and not a pvp game with a sandbox so maybe they are right to increase the power of larger, more organized groups over any 14 year old with a sword and youthful reflexes
also lol at polls, i dont think j&l like democracy or mob rule

if you can present a good argument in this thread thats far more likely to convince them i think.
