Any time you save, means you can use more time for other activities. You do not live isolated in this world, it is a competitive environment where there is competition for nodes, etc.

If it was a single player game, I would buy your argument, but it isn't.

Where did I suggest this was a single player game, or should be? As it stands, it was a measure that insured that people who live on their own had the option of trade with towns without hours of walking/boating. Convenience is not evil.

ramones wrote:@naosnule, your post are noted yet since you're obviously too fresh in this world, you can't see the difference between bad guys and good guys, and exploits being used in a way to ease your gameplay or in gamebreaking style.

I'm sure if this would happen to you, you would share different thoughts as you do now.

Lol? I am a Salem veteran. Do you think Jorbtar hasn't trolled us in this way there before? How about them nuking all our "bugged" farming fields which a large amount of the playerbase was using? (I.e. imagine that you wake up one day and all your crops are gone due to a nuke?).

I stood by the same opinion then as I have now.

Of course there is varying degrees in advantage different bugs give you. Of course you can have varying degrees of malicious intentions, assuming that using a bug can ever have a malicious intention (something I do not quite agree with due moral relativism).

If you want to be safe: don't use bugs. If you want to take a risk: use bugs.

Grind agi and oath your way to the towns. Hermits can still trade.

Bad guys/ unfair greedy players use bug's

Good guys use the old fashion broken teleporting system.

Doing the old. hay buddy summon my guy from the clay node back to base, then back to the clay node then back to base trick.
Does not make you a good guy it makes you a shady mother fker who exploiting bug's.

And you of all people should know that J&L ninja update this game all the fking time. it's no dam secret.
if you wish to exploit anymore bug's get ready for insta cave in's -if you've not seen that one yet.

There's a nice list on the wiki that will tell you what bugs/ exploits are intended.
WARNING! MY ENGISH SUCKS.

@maze, I'm sure every single person in HnH exploited tubs when doing leather, and I'm no where close to call them shaddy mother gangbanger because he was doing it. But be sure I have diferent opinion where it comes to using other exploits, like this one popular now with houses in front of gates etc, where you influence on other people.

This feature is a catastrophe for good players since it was not noted, thats all. If you call me a bitch, do it so, it just wont change the fact that it was bad move from devs.

Your opinion (or any opinion for that matter) is not a fact.

Nobody using this can claim they are innocent...

You can say it was used to circumvent other, bad game mechanics. Sure and that is probably true.

It is also true that others used that to exploit the heck out of the game.

The only fact here is that it is only up to J&L to decide what is acceptable and what isn't. They make the laws here and as in any juridical system the enforcers of the law usually do not care wether you were aware of a certain law existing when you broke it. So if I go and steal something I will get punished for that wether I knew that stealing was a crime or not. Same is true here.

Thread getting better by the minute btw ^^
