They need to reset the world every 6months to a year.
Gives newer players more chances to get to the top.

She's right, Emerald City had essentially 2 end of world parties. one on the second to last day and one on the last.

If you cannot get to the top because others are there..
what makes you think you can get to the top first and
keep others from pushing you off?

Ive seen started die multiple times by bandits for nothing starting over every so often would make everyone fight over everything and be alot more fun rather then h aving a world for 1/2years where a new player comes in mid way and gets anal pounded :D
if the game was to reset every so often
everyone would know its happening, they would fight over everything more then they do already because of the simple fact im sure some players would stay up all night/day just for the reset they know is going to happen so they can be the first to grab the goods, this would give new players a chance to get their account up to par before a guy whos account is 4-6 months old comes in and whipes them out on the second day.

* just on the spare note the only time i ever died when beginning was when i stole someone chest of bricks and killed his cow the third day i started playing ;D

you don't think that there are players have other plans / targets than to fight /raid ... look at W6 and you'll see people that enjoyed to play even the bad lag times and what they did (Xcom maze for example) - that long running world gave a good look of how degenerating all that "fighting and raiding" wents ... and on a side note a huge bunch of high skilled fighters went inactive the longer the world lasted ... also why should i fight for resources when i can trade for them with friends... ;)

You seem rather new...

the start of a world is greeted by a few cute
little noobies who own ql 60 or so nodes...
they are wiped out by 15+ man groups that
have been online 24/7 since the server was
released.

The only difference is the beginning is always
a bloodbath. You die if you are weak, and weak
is everyone that is not with a group that has
a guy with rage on the first day, a guy with
murder on the third, and a brickwall within a
week of World opening.

If you are not strong now, you do not want to
be strong as badly as the people who are strong.
Restarting the world would only have you staying
up all night and trying to be the best, then getting
butchered by a guy that has 10 characters online
at once, grinding their stats simultaneously and
hunting down nodes (Which require survival to
find, so he would also find them before you).

If you want to be strong... be strong. Don't make
an excuse or say "if everyone else was weak, then
i could totally be the strongest" because in my
opinion that just makes you sound... naive

The glory of not restarting regularly is that you
never know when all your work and everything you
know is going to end. It's like death, only you get
to come back in an entirely new body, if you knew
the exact date you would die from the moment
you're born... how would you live?

No im not new at all actually speaking for players i meet that is new like the guy im helping in my videos.
:D

on w7 I had started on a char a week after it was released, with the help of 3 other players i had every skill in the game within the forth day of playing because they had so many curos that they were willing to give me.
I've been playing since w3 until w5 on another account then had quit because through w5/6 i didnt feel like playing as i found intrest in other games at the time like final fantasy battlefield etc.
I couldnt remember the name i used for the account though, so I had made this one and started on w7. So i know you need a brickwall and yada yada yada but if you knew when the world restarts it would make you push a little faster, because even though now we dont know everyone still fights over stuff if you did know then you know you have a time limit. not just Oh hey it "could" restart tomarrow, so we better do this, rather then Oh shit hey its restarting tomarrow im going to go kill everyone I see because i can. And if i knew when i would die from the moment i was born i wouldnt take it safe ill take every chance i get to strive to the top. But because I dont know and hey the server can wipe a year from now im going to take my time and make sure my char stays alive.
