I wouldn't call myself the OP. It was in Gifs or die and Jackard split the threads. I haven't "left in disgust". I just realize that people will troll and get a kick from the response they get from those with better morals. Anything I say here will not change their views. Maybe experience of loss irl will teach them empathy. If not then they are sociopaths and nothing I know of fixes that. I'm not a fan of Paul walker the actor as much as im a fan of the person he was. From his work to help Haitians and those without. To his work with Great white sharks and our oceans. In a world full of Miley Cyrus and even less desirable role models. His was a better life to emulate for young people and I hope that people will be inspired to do good because of this tragedy.

Maybe experience of loss irl will teach them empathy.

Unfortunately I think there is a little more to it than that. :|

(Additionally, It would not like to be on the side of the teaching part (At least not yet). Would you ?)

This all reminds me of when Sammy died, except we all knew he was going to go out in a blazing glory. Too much coke and too many sports cars... (now there is an example of karma... the guy guilty of so many DUI's gets killed by a drunk while sober.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I don't really care. I don't see why it received such news coverage since he was just the lead role in a series of exceptionally plebtastic movies about cars for mouthbreathing 13 year old ricers. Seems like he did some charity work on the side, well, good for him.

Karma is spiritual fluff for new agers and actual buddhists. Maybe it's a helpful guide for how to live your life, I myself prefer the categorical imperative.

it may be an american interpretation, but it isnt the original concept im referring to.
a death is not exactly the consequence of karma; the dead is temporary free from his/her own karma untill he/she is reborn.
you accumulate karma through many lifetimes (always comes with "re-incarnation") and it continues to give you the consequences ALIVE in each life you go through until you reach nirvana ;) its not an instant or simple "cause and effect" stuff.

anyways, those who are suffering the most after someone's death are always those who miss the deceased and it is their karma.
what you believe or what motivates you to do or think is a part of your own karma, and if you dont believe in karma, that is perfectly fine, too.

I know its got nothing to do with Paul Walker but then the guy was a stranger to me other then some random actor from Hollywood.

But about karma and Buddhism. It must be the most superb tool to mass manipulate a population to stfu and obey. Peasants should just be peasants and work so kings and royalty can benefit from there labor. Some fucking mastermind who invented that religion. He probably broke every rule in the textbook and got millions to line up and follow him like brainless sheep.

Its just human nature to seek clarity and meaning. One way or the other.
