Not going to give up this easy, i'll have to learn through these mistakes i'm making. :|

Day 12:

As some people may have not known yet, i woke up today and logged in just to find 4 cornerposts of my palisade sealed ( ¦] ), so after raging a bit about it i got another 5 ropes, and after that went to river to hunt stuff and get bones for glue. Here is what i found while looking for boars and stuff:

(Crafted that sling, with Q50) :)

Late at night i finished the northern part of the palisade, and the first gate:

Here is a screen of the sealed part (south):

(I will have to destroy that cornerpost somehow, will ask for someone strong to do it for me).

Tomorrow, after finishing my palisade i will start building my Village Idol. (Killed my first 4 deers today).

Unless the post is in the way of a future expansion or where the gate will be, no need to get rid of it. You only need one unsealed CP to build the gate. Also, you only need 36 str to break a palisade section using a ram solo.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Or, you could just move the gate, it would mean building another corner post two spaces to the left and mess up your paving design though, but thats what I would do rather than leaving the base unsecure whilst waiting to build a ram and for it to dry.

I think a corner post is quicker in drying time iirc - 12hrs as opposed to 24hrs - but I may be wrong. :)

Anyway, you are moving along nicely in spite of the set-back. :)

Actually, forget that, i've just realised it won't help with the hole in your wall - sorry, i've not slept for over 48hrs and it's clearly affecting my ability to think.

10/10 story so far keep it up with the pics. Also if you really want to know how to build a secure place all you need to do is make sure there are no cave systems underground (or other mineholes on the same level), build your own minehole and then destroy it. That way people won't know you're exatcly at that spot underground ;)

Uh, today was a tough day, thanks for the advices, will keep all them in mind, still need to learn alot in the game (Wich only makes it more interesting). :)

Day 13~14:

Made a decent bed today, needed to murder a whole chicken herd though.

(my back are thankful)

After a lot, and i meant a lot, of work i finally finished the Idol:

Image

Finally a good friend of mine (and strong too) could come and bash the sealed palisade wall section, so i could finally finish the damned walls: :)

Image

(This pic shows the new section i'm working at, with some kilns and ore smelters)

One of my gatekeeper alts. sitting in his chair: :P

(The last pic points to a party arrow of a new friend i just met, but trustworthy).

Thats it, sorry for not posting yesterday.

Day 14~15:

Did nothing much today, expanded the village, but have a lot of plans on doing other stuff;

First animal tamed, a boar, got me to 21hp (consume the flames being used wrong), until i figured out how to tame the beast:

Here i am, with him already tamed (forgot to take screens while taming):

Image

His names, stats, and my gauze.

Image

Future placement for planting "high q" trees.

Image

Also a good person gave me carrots, so i may increase my perc. now without hunting deers. :)

Excellent work on getting the pig, this is making for a highly entertaining visual story and I for one can't wait to see more. Stay safe and keep working hard. :D
