you really are an idiot.. If you actually read what i wrote, you would notice I said they should make a bot detector,
now.. where was it that i said anything resembling this? """Now where was it jorb said they were going to change the mechanics to limit botting?""" oh my, nowhere, are you even looking at the right comment you are replying to?

Some advice, next time you respond to a comment, read it first.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

jorb actually did say "to curb the incentive" which was a direct reply back to you, overtyped.

You could interpret what he's saying like that, or you could also interpret it as he's making a sarcastic reference from my comment.

The response is matter-of-fact. There is no hidden meaning. Curbing the incentive to bot where and when they can is what they try to do in response to, as Xcom wrote, "Bot Abuse." The phrase "that doesn't mean that we shouldn't" was used in response to calling botting "inevitable," which implied they needn't address the Stamina-Hunger bar relation.

Never used bots, not using bots, and most likley never will use bots. i can use public moddified clients to some extent. But i will never let the computer steer any of my caracters in a bot like manner, i rather quit the game, and i might aswell if im not even there to play it.

It just seems to me that the people whos primery focus lies in the PVP part of this game, are the ones who bot the most because they dont seem to give a shit about any other part of the game, and they dont care if they make the game crappy for others as loong as they get their little PVP rush the few ours they are online to actually play.

The people who dont give a shit about the PVP part of the game (yes omg they actually exist) who enjoys building, creating, farming, cooking, exploring, Social projekts etc Seem to be the ones who tend to not bot.

of course there are plenty of exeptions to this assumption.

For overtyped. Yes you could theoretically have anti bot protections but if you are aware of any other games attempts you would know that it isn't going to work here. The red team always wins. The best you can do is change the game mechanic's and there are plenty that agree with me.

I should add, that although I don't use bots cause I personally don't choose too, even though I could have the best client in this game from the amazing players I have in the village.

I support the ones who do use bots and their gameplay, same I support people who don't, those who play peacefully, those who decide to raid, those who hermit, or whatever other options available to people to play this game. this game allows this style of gameplay, and frankly theres many areas of this game which are slow, and long, and tedious, and take up way too much time than is required.
if jorb and loftar wanted to fix it up to remove the need for ppl using bots, then sure.

I play how I choose, I care little for how others choose to play. what is fun to me, is someone elses tedious part of the game.

Anyway, I think it's ok to bot for certain things like paving, cutting trees etc. but most of the big factions use forager bots and that's not "a way to play", that's an exploit. It gives you a huge unfair advantage over others.
