In my case both look red. However every graphics card and Human eye sees each color differently. Color terms are in actuality a loose consensus.

like i said, its about culture and background about the generalization. im not trying to look for the "correct" color names :)

it may give more interesting results with scents

scents left on the crime site and scents you took in inventory look pretty different in color though.
how i see them:
① light violet(blue-ish purple) in invent, white on site
② lime-green or yellow-green in invent, yellow on site
③ green (but in my own tongue, its yellow-green)
④ red or vermilion
⑤ yellow in invent, orange on site
⑥ purple

(I don't really remember how all of this looks ingame, so I'll answer about this pictures mostly)

1. Blue-ish grey. Just grey on site.
2. Yellow-green.
3. Light emerald, maybe slightly more yellow, than usual emerald.
4. Pale red. I remember it being a lot darker on site with a bit of yellow shade, which makes it slightly orange-ish, but it is still red.
5. Orange, less bright orange in inventory.
6. Purple

yeah, thats why i said vermilion. vandal looks really yellow in invent, but calling that yellow-portion "less bright" is rather interesting way of putting it to me as a non-color-expert :)

Vespasian wrote:2 yellow/orange yellow/green

ummmmm. 2, i really dont see orange or any red portion in it myself, and i see more orange in 5 than lemon yellow
lemon yellow is more like... lemon color, correct? maybe californian lemons are darker and closer to orange???

update on pink/purple, about what loftar said :3 i think this is pretty interesting. (deleted unrelated lines)

21:16 Tonky > those boats look really rotten, troll
21:17 loftar > Well, I'll admit its item is pink. It's not like Jorb was being meticulously consistent when he did those different things. ^^

21:17 ChildhoodObesity > o
21:17 ChildhoodObesity > the boats are a mod 2 i think
21:17 Tonky > ok, jorb wanted it to be pink while you meant it to be purple
21:18 loftar > Well, if anything, I'd probably explain it as such;
21:19 loftar > We wanted it to be a Roman cape, and seeing as how they're "purple", Jorb may have started painting them "lilac" before we started researching what Roman purple actually looked like.
21:19 Tonky > i see
21:19 loftar > I can't say I remember how that process looked like, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jorb had painted the item first, and I then objected that that didn't look Roman purple to me, and we then researched it.
21:19 loftar > Don't take that as truth, though, because I really don't remember. :)
21:20 Tonky > lol are you going to fix the colors in hafen? ;)
21:20 loftar > Well, so far Jorb hasn't made a purple cape. :)
21:20 Tonky > ^^
21:20 ChildhoodObesity > wowow rip
21:20 loftar > He decided to make the first cape blue this time around. ^^

I see the first cape as red, the second one as purple/pink either or. The starvation bar to me is beige/yellow, either or. Scents are as follows; Blue, Lime Green, Green, Red, Orange and Purple respectively.

I'm Canadian, and I live in a place where I have to speak both French and English.
