I think you have to have it on Steam in order to get multiplayer to work.
If you buy a Desura copy you get a free Steam one so you get two copies, if you plan on buying.
Anyway just look up Project Zomboid on Pirate bay, build 26 is like the first or second result, but I think it's worth the buy

Will try. Thanks! I found a version with multiplayer but it's like 962 instead of 964 or something... Hope what you said is 964.
Edit: Nvm, the first link is actually an .exe... And the second link is your sentence in this forum. It's pretty sketchy, so I'll wait until the newest Steam version has been pirated!
