well jorb, avu does make some good points, however avu, you need to realize that the way you make your points is perhaps not the best way to do so

State your case without sounding like you're cursing me for taking time to build the game in the first place, and I might be.

Let's not forget how that textcrash killer from the announcements forum never got punished, even though they almost certainly got the crime location from the victim and could've found him by scents. At least give us his name, so we can bring it up in every conversation where he starts playing holier than thou.

Those points have been made time and again by a lot of people. But of course broken aspects of the game are clearly not a priority for jorb and loftar as must be clear to all that hanged around here for long enough. Why fix stuff when there's always a new generation of lemmings to make fun of.

I don't even try making suggestions anymore they will be ignored or filed with the stuff to do in 10 years right after the remaining not broken aspects of the game get broken (see marching, see the recent hirdport nerf, see a lot of other examples). I mean there's the all important knocking on doors and greeting of friends to get into the game.

And what happens when a good suggestion finally gets implemented ingame? Well it gets half assed and forgotten the next week like the seedbags or the cows that ate your barn when first introduced and made butter bakery products a luxury.

Meanwhile long time players either get fed up with the shit and quietly quit maybe coming in from time to time to see what broken system has been added on top or if they are from wv turn to griefing for shit and giggles with absolutely no way to put a stop to it because after all you gave them the ancestor system that just makes them more powerful in the event they die.

Why don't jorb and loftar prioritize? Well there are a few possible explanation none of them painting them in a good light.

And no I will not sugar coat what I have to say just because. Others did and it got them the same result. Pity about the games potential.

If we know that we want to make fundamental changes to a system then, no, we're not going to spend much time balancing it in its present incarnation, that is a correct observation. We do prioritize -- between fixes, design discussions, new systems, new content and maintenance. You rough that out over ten hours a week and see what you come up with.

You are not spending ANY time on balancing. How are people supposed to make a correct assessment of new systems that get introduced when they suffer the baggage of old ones? And I see what you come up with. Like I said pity about the games potential.

I dont like the wyrd system either. It sounds like profession/badge dailies in WoW, everyone hates them but if you want to keep up with the good guys you just have to login and make them every day.
Also i dont see any gameplay additions/improvements here, beside a teleport replacement through marching and the actual procedures to get the wyrd.
