I would say improvements to the map generator, especially with giving local areas special terrains and/or animals that are non-existent in other areas, to increase diversity. Also, may as well finish the combat system balancing, since it is a work in progress ATM.

he just copypasted an old post of jorbs

i think hes being semi-ironic or something

I know, I know. Its just that that entire post was a mile above most of his posts, and I thought it was funny.

Anything to stop he random griefing, the best thing i saw suggested (I believe from Flame) being the trip-code by which as long as you did not buy Rage you would not be able to participate in the PVP part of the game. I beleve this would be awesome in seperating (while stil maintaing) the ability of both PVPers and Carebears to play the game without stepping on each other's gameplay toes = happiness all around aside from griefers who (well who cares where they go) could go to any of the 500 griefers games.

Replace the rediculous repugnant cave system by which they can be 1000 tiles of winding crap and not even have the mine in it that the rustroot registered.

Increase wheat spawn rates.

Revise the retarded wounded animals running unreasonably.

Those are my main griefs and would be happy with a perma-reset. AsI'm pretty happy with most other things.

I don't even want to think about the exploits we would see if PvP was something optional. I do agree that claims need better defenses, though.

You're kidding, right?

Make PvP related to factions (you're safe unless you join a faction, then people from other factions can kill you). Same thing with stealing/destruction (if you choose to be in a faction, other factions can steal, destroy your stuff).

@Jorb: nope, not kidding.

@B: yes.

Seriously, why not?

The main reason I can see people don't want this is that they aren't really interested in PvP if that means a real fight. What they want are victims, not opponents.

I'm happy to be persuaded I'm wrong.

Let's assume I want to raid your base. What is to prevent me from sending in an untouchable scouting alt that can't be engaged in PvP, can't be killed and can't be stopped?

That is *one* example. As I said, I don't even want to think of the potential for dickery that comes with that kind of "system".

Fairly simple, non-PvP enabled can't enter claims, villages.

No problem, as I said in another post, it's your game. It's quite clear you're more comfortable with the dickery that currently occurs.
