In belgium swastika is forbidden.

Swastikas are illegal in some countries because of the impact it had and what it still symbolises, as the other article showed it has been used in many cultures all over the word in different ways. It is just the affect of WW2 has greatly outweighed the original cultural significance. Germany is or was ashamed over what happened, the propaganda and censorship was overwhelming people got caught up in it. Look at valkrie, people fought against it.
DOD:Source had a modified symbol for the german team to remove the Swastika, although i think for world like sales most games on't use it anyway.

Enough of the sensible talk.

It was not done to offend, it was done because they wanted a bigger e-penis. We have all done stupid stuff on games to think ha, wonder what he will think when he logs in.

Swastikas are illegal, but allowed to use in history reflecting art, such as documentations or films about that time, or schoolbooks.

They could have been educating a fellow player on the rise of Hitler, and used some visual aids.

Fool around? Rather, I think he intended to use it to insult those people he was doing it at. And insulting officials tends to have repercussions.

And to be honest, just plough the swastika and put some stones over it so the attempted trolling becomes a kind deed and saves effort for whoever wants to expand there. :lol:
