In most games I like to steal everything that isn't nailed down (and sometimes even that if I can get away with it), I stole Vivecs Ash Mask from the room without taking out either of the guards in Morrowind.

Ah! a fellow Morrowind stealth spec! At 100 sneak, almost nothing can see you, although pickpocket is still useless. Also: Sneak + fire arrows + ranged 100% weakness to fire = win.

In Oblivion, I ended up mastering stealth and managed to become the Gray Fox AND the Speaker of the Dark Brotherhood before I even started on the first Oblivion gate.

Back on topic: We can always fix your stats with enough of the appropriate food, tell me what the stats are and I'll see if we can salvage anything.

On my end, I didn't mind the thieves too much, they always got caught and killed, and I always get more from their bodies than what they take. Personally, I've lost far more in a ONE crash than I did to all the thieves and griefers throughout the game.

Thats because they take from everyone, so you basically get a lottery prize culmated from the best of everyone's items said thief could get into.

Thats so true. I had all that metal and I was like F! I can't use any of this right now, partly because I wanted to remain hidden still and partly because I just had no use for some of the things to make, there really is no need for it half the time!

Gah, you are so right! Why didnt I think of that! The mine is so large I could have just taken the chest and hidden it in the very south lol. But nope, I'm on to a respectable farmer now, so if you wont judge and give this character a chance I'd appreciate it. Time to learn how to play again lol

Wouldn't work. I semi-regularly explore mines just to see if anyone's mined any interesting formations (the bottleneck mine has some good ones).

Mind you, I probably wouldn't nick a ton of steel from a chest (unless it was unclaimed) sitting in someone else's mine.

I was thinking, more out in the wilderness. You get a cart, and hide it behind a tree out somewhere random, with just a little bit sticking out.

They were looking at me while I did it. That being said, I try to avoid stealing from other players in MMOs, because I know that it will come back to bite me in the ass later.

Bethesda/Morrowind owes me one whole summer of my life that I will never get back.
