Clogs are, mysteriously, the only item of regular clothing suseptible to damage from attack. The boar ate them, in other words, but you'll never lose your shirt and pants the same way.

Just craft a new pair and you'll be safe from thorns again. =)

Cattle tamed: 4
Bulls acquired: 3
Calves had: 1 (also male. Also went down on, hilariously, everything but Breeding Quality. And Milk Quality which is 11 which I guess isn't so bad)
Sheep tamed: 3
Rams acquired: 0

I am tired of (almost) mono gendered livestock.

As for lucky experiences, I had aurochs spawn on my (very modestly sized) grassland a minute ago, so after some more taming I will hopefully have actual females.

I guess I was lucky(?) enough to witness this:

Seems not many people have seen the carnal acts of horny bull love-making.

And let me enhance your current mental image by stating the animation was accompanied by a very loud "MOOOOOOOO!" :D

Update:
Cattle tamed: 7
Bulls: 5 Cows: 2
Sheep tamed: 3
Rams: 1 Ewes: 2

Still having horrendous luck with the livestock that actually matter.

On the luck end, I messed up and let the rest of the aurochs de-spawn... but then mouflons spawned in the same place.

Males can be killed for the leather, intestines, and meat goodies.

BAD: Joined Tinsel Town 2 days before the ex-lawspeaker goes crazy and kills almost the entire population.

GOOD: I am part of the survivors so have suddenly become the most powerful person in the village....yay.

Gotta take the good with the bad I guess.

EDIT: Also good, I am the new lawspeaker. Nothing like a mass slaughter to help someone move up through the ranks...

I'm literally choking on the massively overflowing cupboards of food I produce without bulls. (My kingdom for a flour sack!) Regardless I've converted six of the previously mentioned bulls into steaks so now my village is even less likely to starve.

Intestines are of questionable use without metal (the cabin and outside cheeses are lackluster), and Q10 leather isn't something I'm in need of anymore. It's nice to have some extra parchment, though.

Oh also both of my calves have been male. And degenerate runts. Yay!

Anyway, ranting about useless cow bits aside, I've now had the (dis?)pleasure of seeing jorb's animal porn as well. Of course I have to inflict it on you fine folks as well.

Yes, there was a 'BAAAAAAA'.

What he said minus the Survivor part/Lawspeaker part, hurray for Josan/Lman and his love of griefing. :|
If at first you don't succeed, well that's pretty much it for sky-diving.

Unlucky:

For the past couple days a boar has been camping right on my new settlement. It even attacked one of my friends the second he spawned into the game for the first time. Needless to say he didnt like the game lol.

Go inside a house or away from the boar and log out. If a beast hasn't been spotted in 30 minutes then they disappear.. But they can still spawn on your stuff again. xD
