I do honestly think a system of "IOU" style debts done via parchment could work on a small scale, particular between villages who regularly work together and trade together, and thus can trust each other. However I really don't ever expect to see a full on bank like this, nor liquid currency (unless it's added as a game mechanic), simply because they would require far too much upkeep, trust, and be too easy for third parties to mess up.

Well its really kinda based on a Communistic style Where everyone is created equal and you offer services in return for either services or goods.

Communism is where everyone is treated equal regardless of what they do or how well they do it, and usually they are treated equally badly. This isn't really anything like that. It's based largely on the Norse and Celtic world of early Europe, and as it was there, is heavily village and bartering based.

I could see a non-coin currency system arising from villages that pay their residents for jobs completed or whatever. The currency would be traded to some sort of village stockpile for goods with a value set by the people in charge of these things.

This system of course would need to be accepted by all those involved.

NO!

Money, or more specifically value, is not, and never has been, a function of government authority.
