@ Yolan: ...and don't forget to plan "blank" plots for tree farms.

@Elirian: You are aware we are talking about Sodom here, not World's End? Sorry for derailing the thread.

@Hiro: Sorry I never heard of you. Did anybody say you might be on the list for joining Sodom? Because otherwise I would have to disappoint you, we only take in players we know.

@Yolan: Nice to see you come up with another big project. Wish you more luck with this than you had with Brodgar. If you ever need something to trade for, you find us in Constantinople.

Good idea. "The Tragedy of the Commons" is another lesson learned from Brodgar. I.E. Why put in effort to plant in a common area if you don't get the benefit. Result = deforestation.

Solution: Treefarm/park. You plant a tree, and get to cut one down immediately. Good incentive for people to grow/sell pot plants.

Thanks. Eventually we will need to find a halfway point village for travel, because World's End is far too far away from the center for most people to instant travel to it.

On the plus side this will hopefully make things a bit safer while we get started.

Yup yup, you guys seemed to be concerned that you couldn't get another plot and couldn't find anyone to wall it anyway, am I right? Just throught that if you offered to put the wall and authority structures in people might be more amenable to you having a second plot.

Within the next few days I am going to start work outlining the middle of World's End. 12 plots of 30x30 tiles surrounding a 71x71 tile city plaza. This area will then be surrounded by a palisade initially, making it the 'inner city'.

10 plots of 30x30 are up for grabs (I'm taking one of the 12 for myself, and setting aside another for the city hall).

Can people who are interested in having of of these post on this forum? What I need in return is a willingness to help plow, pave and chop to define the area itself.

I wouldn't mind joining, however would you prefer fresh characters or already established ones? If I could get some directions, I wouldn't mind relocating with some supplies to assist. (Flax/hemp/wheat seeds, rope, bone glue, etc.)
