*sigh* Highschool good times. Smoking in the bathrooms, skipping class to go to the beach, and messing with the JROTC kids knowing they were not allowed or going to do anything to stop us. God I was a little punk back then. Hey Josan you should join one of the sports teams in your school. Wrestling matured me up a bit.

If you have a good wrestling team, nothing will make you tougher. Take upper level classes if you can (honors, AP); they generally have much better and cooler teachers than reg classes. And yes, every upperclassman can tell if you are a freshman, next year you will have the same instinct. We can tell by the way you talk and act. Relax, don't try hard to fit in with older kids or be cool. act more mature, be more respectful. you'll stand out for your maturity, which will get you more respect from everyone around you, including teachers and upperclassman. Don't be to annoying or desperate for attention. Join a sport or two, join some clubs, you'll make friends with the same interest as you and meet upperclassmen. just don't pussy out of a sport halfway through because it's too hard, or you aren't good at it. If you need to quit a team to keep up your grades, then that's much more respectable.
