Don't want to get involved, just been following the topic and I had to laugh at this statement. There is a huuuge debate going on about nature vs nurture and you just completely ignored the nature side. There have been tons of studies that prove people are not the same when they leave the womb.
It has a reason I ignored that side. Because I simply do not believe there is much truth to it. At least no sufficent explanation of the truth. Natural sciences have a big problem with that and I am aware I won't make many friends with that view on what is regarded as the holy grail of enlightenment in today's society.
Psychology for example has been mutilated over the past 120 years or so from what was once a promising field of insight to a very dull overcompensation of vague data.
To put it differently: There is a huge blind spot on natural sciences and nobody seems to give a damn about that.
