There's a clear line between exploiting game mechanics to "get one up" on someone else and using common workarounds for every day use that 99% of the game population uses because the devs have recognized the issue but haven't taken the time to fix. This is considered an ALPHA game for a reason. If you're not happy with that, take leave. Vamoose.
Other than that, there are a lot of identified "broken" mechanics that are likely to be removed, replaced, and/or fixed. Fussing over them before this point serves absolutely no purpose. I grant that in some of the cases you're just using them as an example and probably shouldn't be used as an overall "complaint" of the broken system.
The only time I've seen macros truly used to "wreck honest players" is the w4 mining bots that put the new mining system to use. People were getting raided from the inside because they didn't wall off their cave entrances or mine holes. Other than that, any honest player has as much advantage over bots if they have half a clue what they're doing. Stats aren't everything in this game. Proper skill will win out over stats every time. (Just look how popular movement combat has become... it's like watching a John Woo film where everyone bounces off the walls and doesn't really hit each other until the killing blow is made. A player can pull this off with a 10:1 UA/MC skill deficit.) To be honest, more often than not, it's the bug exploits that screw over the "honest players" not the use of bots.
"Honor" is something made up by certain people to gain some sense of "moral superiority" over others and/or to justify evil actions against them. Do what is right because it's right and for no other reason. If you want to push morality, live humble and speak softly. Lead others to peaceful existence. Speaking of what is "Just" and "Honorable" just rabble rouses and brings anything but peace.
