I'm fairly sure he's from a village much larger than mine, and that he would have back up.
Me and my LS were out foraging in a river system we don't usually go down. I managed to kill a bear, so we put it in his boat as mine was full of 2 LCs. We split up and all of a sudden he was in combat, so he ran as fast as he could, broke combat and TP'd home. W're pretty sure they tracked out scents of trespassing, even though it was just to go up to it and look around the outside, because after getting home, there was another dhelmer there within 2 minutes. A day later, the ram was being set up in our mine.
