Don't see any reason to be proud of something that is genetically predetermined. That's like being proud of being able to breathe,

Less racist reasons, for who is fool enough to think that being racist is something of any use.

If you are saying that discriminating based on racism is useless, then I would like to remind you that through conflict and "We vs Them" mentality it is easy to find a place to belong, a purpose. We do so much shit just to please ourselves, such as sex, so in that sense I consider such use of racism to have usefulness.

I am sorry, but I don't understand quite a bit of what you are writing there. Especially the last part

I just thought there for a second that from the start any of your statements on the subject was a cleverly caricature on using personal opinion to overrule any factual findings, but i guess i was wrong.

How are scientific findings are used is very rarely a question science concerns itself with, and there is no reason it should be otherwise, scientific method itself is simply a tool, and claiming it should be broken (and tying results to observers is breaking it essentially) because you dislike how it's used is again, and act of trying to force reality fit your expectations of it.

You didn't seemed to get much flak out of it yet, so you might fine there after all (certainly not the most 'dangerous' opinion to express, especially considering the original topic of this thread), but three posts is enough derailing, so i will go about my business.

They are most certainly useful for me, since they provide me pleasure, while it is very much possible that it is no use for anyone else :D.

Edit: As for human beings, we are certainly all the same specie since we can interbreed and create a fertile offspring, but that's not "race".

We have been drifting away from the original topic

Really??? Didn't noticed that! XDD

There should be a "stop-rewind" command for this topic.
._.

That's like being proud of being able to breathe

Breath is something that everybody can do. Uhmm.. it's like be proud of have a different nose, or a different skin color. Why? Because is your nose and you'r particular skin color, something that you and few other people have. Your inner characteristic. I find really hard to be sad of it, also if i'm fucking small. Is something that i'm, and it's Me.
Small, with a useless nose, verbose, polite, irritable, weak with muscles but strong with a pencil. If someone says that this is my Race i say "Whoo! Cool! I'm a whole race! \o\"
If someone says that i'm unique, without races i say "Good to know!"
Of what should i be sad of? In both times i'm alive, i have sense and lots of characteric. That makes perfect sense to me!

(and the someone comes to kick me 'cuz he dislike some of those, but well, it's not a scientific problem! lol)

then I would like to remind you that through conflict and "We vs Them" mentality it is easy to find a place to belong

Yeah, but i consider it a bug. Just a Easy way to obtain a sense of safety. (ehh..humans, humans, so poor and weak, we are just scared monkey most of the time of our life.)
Step 2 - Let's belong to the world this time.
