i see that the english wiki doesnt say much there, but the phenomenon was first reported by a german scientist in 1947 (as a symptom of a mental disorder) and the term already existed, not like japanese made it up! sometimes when you stare at a letter for long enough (no matter what language) you feel like you dont recognize the letter any more or you come to wonder if it is the right shape or it just starts looking weird.

Faust, V.C.(1947). U¨ber Gestaltzerfall als Symptom des parieto-occipitalen U¨bergangsgebietes bei doppelseitiger Verletzung nach Hirnschuss. Nervenarzt, 18, 103-115.

http://www.psych.or.jp/interest/ff-34.html (only in Japanese, if you are interested in detailed info.)

and ty all for reading and nice praises!

<CORRECTION>
one major mistake (i must have been drunk), but
"short range melee" in comic notes should have been "close combat".
a bit too tired atm to fix it. (i will fix it later)

actually found a couple more. ill fix them all tonight.

an educational ascii art comic made by VIPPER in w5, translation by tonky

*translation notes*
"~ ain't no game" = a popular meme by gamers in Japan, but originally "asobi/遊び(meaning play, recreation, some activity just for fun)" instead of "game" is used. some may object to this translation. i just didnt want to make it too explanatory or roundabout.
cow = aurochs
oraa! = refer to this or this.

My first try in making a decent HnH comic :)

Had to cut a little part at the top, right and bottom because the paper was a bit too large for my scanner. In the bottom right corner it says: "The End"
Hope you have a great day

People are capable of kindness angels can only dream of, yet can commit sins that put demons to shame.
