If it weren't for the big mean evil capitalists, those proles wouldn't even have a wage to keep them fed, since a majority of them are subjectable to warlords or their own tyranical governments (no private property rights).

Well no, they'd still be in feudalism if the West didn't spread capitalism on bayonet point. Which, while far from ideal, is still a bit better than wage slavery since a serf has some value to his lord.

I yearn for the socoliasm of star trek, but since we dont have a working warp drive yet, i must use the best of what the world has to offer.

Or we could just go the social liberalism route.

Wage slavery is inevitable in a society that has a large population of landless people and no mechanisms against it, such as minimum wage and welfare.

Capitalists don't use bayonettes to force anything. Governments do that.
Those poor people across the ocean from me have to work for next to nothing PRECISELY BECAUSE of mechanisms like minimum wage laws destroying the competitiveness of labor markets in these more developed nations, where people would be able to work for less and survive well because prices are so low there. On the same token, that also affords those developed countries the luxury to form crybaby groups (unions) to whine about their low wages. The worker is the one who winds up suffering, while union leaders and politicians make out fat and happy. At the end of the day, the businessman still has to make a profit or no more business for him. If that means having to look over the ocean for labor, well...

Dole fruit company, Rockafeller, Carnegie, and JP Morgan all disagree with you. Also capitalism is just greed given free will its a mortal sin for a reason. All of these people/companies use private armies (dole was caught using rebels in South America and the others used the Pinkertons) to keep people in their place. Luckily those "crybaby" groups formed and fought for the things workers have now adays like the ability to not work 16 hour shifts and get paid more then potatoes.

No, that is why they formed a cartel and climbed into bed with the government to protect their cartel interests. Read more about them and you would know that.

You mean when the US government slaped them with a heft lawsuit for what they were doing?!? Maybe you should read up more on it especially if you think Unions are a bad thing. Also nice job cherry picking my argument.

I live in a right to work state, I allways felt unions were not needed, then I meet a bunch of idiot managers that did not know there asshole from thier mouth hole. I can say now that I feel some unions have merit, but other unions have driven bussiness over seas, it is a double edge sword.
