key alts are the dumbest beat-around ever.

Until you die in the middle of nowereville and can't get out of your pali/bwall, or log back in to see it ransacked.
I would totally carry around my keys for the convenience of it if there were not so many downsides. Key alts are kind of a retarded workaround, but they are necessary.

Also Brás, not sure of your stats or what you tried but you probably need around 150 to 200 UAC to solo them if you know how to use manuevers and not get killed with them.

Now that I think about, even if I did manage to tame one of them I'd have no way of getting out of there alive. I have to start thinking things through before doing them in this game.

As to being locked inside: I keep a Battering Ram inside my fragile palisades.
As to being robbed: I figure if someone is able to kill me there isn't much I can do about not getting raided, keys would only make it easier for them.

Permadeath is part of the game, if you dont like it then dont play the game. There always will be stronger and weaker players, you have to deal with that aswell.

Build up some more defense around your village and you are basically safe forever in this game if you do ramchecks..
