If you actually believe any of that anti-trust bullshit, you're a "useful idiot" as well.

Those "hefty lawsuits" are a drop in the bucket to the likes of Rockefellers and Morgan. To an honest small businessman though, it is the difference between starting a business and not. Learn your history then come back and talk to me, boy.

Also, good job not reading my 14 fucking pages of debate before trying to stir up a new debate with me. Off to work now...

I can say now that I feel some unions have merit, but other unions have driven bussiness over seas, it is a double edge sword.

Well because of rise of shipping costs because of oil prices those jobs will be moving back. Also look into "Morganization" and you will see why unions were and are a good thing. It gives the little man a voice and power against corporations.

By the way, ask Connecticut, Michigan, and Vermont how those unions are working out for their economy. Now ask states like Tennessee and Virginia, right to work states, how much their economy has exploded in the recent years.

No, that is why they formed a cartel and climbed into bed with the government to protect their cartel interests. Read more about them and you would know that.
Also, please learn the definition of the word "capitalism". FOr the millionth fucking time, capitalism is entrepenuership., You hate business I assume?

Capitalism assumes limited government control. It is very much possible to start a business and do business in a market that is regulated by the government in a far stronger sense than capitalism assumes.

oooo and ad hominem attack because i disagree with you i am a useful idiot? and a child? No i just have a differing opinion and have seen what happens first person when a corporation has no oversight. Also i have done my history you think that work conditions during the late 1800's and early 1900's were good? why do you think standard oil, Carnegie steel, and Microsoft aren't the megalithic corporations anymore?

EDIT: also Burni was doing just fine arguing my point earlier, and thats why i didn't jump in.

EDIT of EDIT: labor competition worked out AMAZING before unions you know child labor, 16 hour work days, black balling, age of monopolies that was an amazing time to be a worker....

Capitalism is an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital assets and goods. In a capitalist economy, investors are free to buy, sell, produce, and distribute goods and services with at most limited government control, at prices determined primarily by a competition for profit in a free market

From wikipedia, so yeah it is far from the best source. Would be glad though if anyone linked to a proper definition by a far more reputable site :).

I have also seen a union stop a bussiness from opening in a non union state due to they would not be able to force people to pay dues. If a union is worth its own merit, workers would be willing to pay and not be forced to join if they do not want to. Like I said unions do have there places, but taking away the choice to join one or not is wrong. That is force servitude(sp).
