I dunno about 10, but i know klaue swam a decent sized river with 20 . But your stam drains really slow while ur not moving in water.

Pretty sure someone mentioned it while we were building all those clay crossroads last world that 10 con = 10 tiles. Everyone doubted it so we tried and he indeed crossed 10 tiles.

Stand away from the water, right click flotsam, right click flask (before entering the water)

right click on the flotsam, ok, then when you click on the flask che chara Stop moving. You can drink while moving only when the chara haven't an object to take or a specific action to active. The only way you can drink while moving is when youre just Walking without an objective.

This was my experience. Can't know if the flotsam specifically is out this, if it is, is just a nice exception.

You don't drink while moving; you tell your character to pick the flotsam, then bring up the radial menu for the flask with right click (this does not stop him moving), then your character will start picking the flotsam and the radial menu for flask will remain up. Only after picking the flotsam completely can you click drink, after this you have to make it back to shore without drinking. I have done this with about 25 con taking a flot from the middle of a medium sized river (i did have q58 water at the time).
