Well, it seemed I was doing well, he was taking a lot of damage and even though he did attacks on me they were pretty ineffective, but it was taking a long time and so I thought I'd try something else, I came out and started stacking coins whilst running towards a mineshaft that was there, there where I died. He then made rocks fall on me but again they did little damage so I just went to the other side of the mineshaft intending to attack in some way and then he made more rocks fall which completely knocked me out - I was quite surprised tbh, lol, he then destroyed the mineshaft and just finished me off.

Still, my other char has now discovered a developed skull, lol, and it was quite exciting, with all my gear back on I'm at about a 3rd of what I was, so it's not the end of the world. And next time one comes I've learnt to call a friend -

I think troll hunting became more difficult.
Troll sometimes attacks at the beginning without gaining coin,
and above all, drops rock accurately when troll is in a bad mood.

I consumed almost my character in hunting a troll.

It will cavein if it doesn't have direct line of sight to you, and in the 2nd picture where it caved in, it was around a corner

Also for some reason if you melee the troll it can think that your own body is in the way of it and will cavein also

Trolls are still very easy to kill, you just have to do it correctly.
