Im not sure what warranted this. old stuff now I guess. if you mean that I dont read though, then that is false. as for the dyslexic part, then you are correct. in fact NOOBY hit the nail on the head with dysgraphic. again though, old stuff. oh no wait, I think I get it now. was my post too vaguely related to the topic to actually be recognizable as related for you?

High wages != robust economy. Try factoring in the cost of living next time then come back to me.

And the Virginia being next to Washington DC thing just made me laugh.

Adj. Disposable income places Connecticut first still, CoL adjusted puts it 18th.
Adj. Disposable income places Virginia 10th, CoL adjusted places it 10th
Adj. Disposable income places Vermont 19th, CoL adjusted places them 43rd
Adj. Disposable income places Tennessee 33rd, CoL adjusted places them 31th

and for noting, if you take away Northern Virginia (Washington Suburbs) it falls to 29th in Disposable income.

Top ten states for Adjusted Disposable income:
Connecticut
Massachusetts
New Jersey
North Dakota
Maryland
New York
Wyoming (Anti-Union)
New Hampshire
Alaska (Anti-Union)
Virginia (Anti-Union)

CoL adjusted is the average wage adjusted for Cost of Living (CoL) Index, Adjusted Disposable Income takes into account the CoL plus Housing, Travel, and Taxes.

from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

#4: Actually, please don't compare them. I don't care anymore. I'm jaded with this thread so bad lol :p

Nothing you say, nor any statistic you show me, will make me change my mind about unions being a scourge to the working man. Let's just agree to disagree so we can just put this tired beaten dead horse of a thread to rest FINALLY. :D

#1 2010 census
#2 Then why did you ask for the CoLA stats, which only come from the government?
#3 No, I didn't look at 2000 census data points

Unions have been a singularly good thing for wages, workers rights, minimum wage, the weekend, and yes for the working man. Union members make almost 20% more than non-union members doing the same job. Compare Canada (35% Unionized) to the U.S. (11% Unionized). The average wage in Canada is almost $8,000 more a year (using CoLA) than in the U.S. When economic historians look back on the downfall of the U.S. working man, they'll point to no national union law standardization as one of the key handicaps to the U.S. worker. We make less without a union, and the company makes more.

Such statement just doesn't seem one befitting you, burgingham.

You don't seem like the kind of guy that would insult everyone around him. Perhaps I just don't know you well enough, or perhaps I misjudged you. :|

I'm on somewhat friendly terms with Birg but in all honesty he's elitest, a prick and thinks he is better than 99.9% of Humanity. You must not read many of his posts.
