I've been banned for a week before.

Also, kicks/bans should be timed, I believe there's a way to set bans for a certain time, or simply mute people for a certain time (pretty much the equal of a ban except they can read what's happening).

hmm, if i can figure out how to set timed bans i'll clear the banlist and start using those. some people need to be perma'd (random outsiders joining the room and posting goatse spam etc), but there's really no reason to perma anyone that's actually a player.

probably involves setting up timers with mirc scripting

they are all very helpful, connect to IRC often and i don't think they will abuse their power.
Although i tihnk they can be helpful without being moderators.
And as for rules, i agree mostly, but i want to add that all that 'russians vile scum' talk is not good too (yeah that's my point lol, you all know why).

we all know russians are just an advanced ai npc faction so its all okay

Yeah, IRC doesn't support this natively.

Interesting, I've seen it on both DALnet and IRC, thought synIRC had it.

Many clients have it built in but that's not really too reliable.
