People have said multiple times that it's better to fuck things up now so that they can be fixed rather than wait until much later, but I still haven't heard anyone actually say specifically what makes it so much harder to fix further down the track.

I just re-read all his posts in this thread, I can see one post which is the one I quoted, which simply asserts that it is necessary to fix early and not late. That's not a reasoning, it's an assertion.

There's another assertion that people are going to be dicks, which is a circular argument because D started off responding to someone who said "quit being dicks" by saying "it's better that they're dicks now than later so J&L can fix it". J&L fixing it now because people are dicks now, is not better than J&L fixing it later because there are dicks later.

Then there's a few posts about how most of the players are goons, which isn't relevant to my question of why it is BETTER to have retards, pulling dick moves now, so that J&L have to fix things NOW as opposed to people not being dicks, and letting J&L fix things at a later date.
