It's not that I'm entering combat with them, they simply seem to have a buffer zone that if it's entered, it hops a few tiles away. No longer can I just pick them up and wring necks.

No more easy meals for me I suppose...

Uh, this just isn't true, unless they changed it like 10 hours ago.

Okay I obviously can't confirm this, as the game is down and because rabbits are pretty rare, but I THINK you have to sneak up on them from behind now. I'm not even joking.

The first 2 rabbits I came across after his quick patch lastnight did this: they ran away before I could even get close to them, always kept moving. Acting very skittish. However later when I was hunting I came across quite a few more, and rather than going straight to them from the front or sides I snuck around back and walked up to them with no problems. A quick twist, some knife work, and voila: I got bone.

I dunno if the first two were just flukes, though it seems like more and more people are having this issue, or if you need a certain amount of some stat to be successful ( I have a bit of agi and dex from fishing ) but who knows? Caught four rabbits this way no issues.

I'm not sure how caves work, but i found an iron vein in a cave. I mined it, and it seems that some tiles require more strength than others. Also what is strange is that i mined iron ore, and after smelting i got tin bar.

Oh, that's actually a bug. It's supposed to say just "Ore".
